Delivery of the written master thesis
The estimated time for writing the master thesis is 840 hours. The time span to deliver it is 20 weeks.
The master thesis has to be delivered within the time limit. In individual cases, the examination board can prolong this time by at most six weeks. The candidate has to apply for that under specification of reasons.
The master thesis has to be delivered in form of
- two printed and bound copies
- one electronic copy
at "Studienbüro Physik". The thesis should have ca. 40-80 pages A4. This does not contain front page, table of contents, and list of references.
The candidate has to affirm that he/she has written the thesis alone and that no other sources and means than declared were used. This has to be done on an extra page in the thesis which has to be signed at the moment of delivery.
