Lab Course on Life, Light and Matter Research

The students acquire knowledge and skills in experimental and in theoretical research projects in scientific working groups of the institute of physics.
The students have to read up on the subject matter in the literature. They apply advanced methods to analyze the results of their measurements or calculations. They present their findings consisely in a scientific language. They are able to depict complex physical topics in a poster presentation, to conduct the scientific discussion, and to answer questions regarding details.

They have to successfully complete five projects in research groups of the Institute of Physics, the Department „Life, Light and Matter“ of the Interdisciplinary Faculty, or the research group „Biolectrics“ of the Leibniz-Institut für Plasmaforschung und Technologie Greifswald.
